Hey! I’m Sammy.
I’m an Illustrator living on Tassie’s North West Coast with my husband and our little wildling. I love salty beach days, exploring our pristine national parks, and supporting the small businesses that keep Tasmania buzzing.
What started as a little creative spark here on my island home has grown into the most heart filling business I could’ve dreamed up. These days I get to draw buildings for the loveliest people all around Australia! I still have those “I can’t believe I get to do this !” moments.
My iconic, whimsical style turns homes, shacks and shopfronts into portraits packed with personality. The kind that make people smile, tear up a little and share stories you haven’t heard in years. These are not your run of the mill, mass-produced prints. Every portrait is made with care, character and a big dose of Tassie charm.
From first homes and much loved family shacks to small businesses built on big dreams, each portrait is all about capturing that feels like home feeling.
I only open a handful of commission spots each month, so if your special place is calling out for a sprinkle of Island Home magic, all I need are a few photos. I’ll take it from there and turn them into a whimsical, sentimental portrait that tells your story.
